-Renters are responsible for returning rented items in the condition received.

-Owners may request a cash security deposit during the in-person transaction.

-If the item is returned in good condition, the deposit should be refunded.

-If the item is lost, stolen, or not returned, the owner may keep the deposit.

-Rent From Me is not involved in or liable for any cash handling, disputes, or disagreements related to deposits or rental conditions.

6. User-Generated Content

If you post listings, reviews, or any other content:

-You grant Rent From Me a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use your content.

-You are solely responsible for your content and must not post anything unlawful, defamatory, or infringing.

-We reserve the right to remove content without notice if it violates these Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

Rent From Me provides the platform “as is” and makes no guarantees about:

-The accuracy or availability of listings.

-The reliability or conduct of users.

-The safety or condition of listed items.

We are not liable for:

-Damages, loss, or injury resulting from rental transactions.

-Disputes over cash transactions, deposits, or item damage/loss.

8. Security Deposits Disclaimer

-Security deposits are cash-based and handled entirely between users.

-Rent From Me does not mediate or verify deposits, nor guarantee the return of any funds.

-Users are advised to document transactions, item conditions, and agreements.
